As Tropical Storm Helene moves toward the Florida coast, FPL is mobilizing a restoration workforce of thousands and finalizing preparations to restore electric service as quickly as possible.

Following a rigorous application process, Florida Power & Light Company's Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 have been granted approval to operate for an additional 20 years.

NextEra Energy, Inc. and NextEra Energy Partners, LP announced that members of the senior management team will participate in various investor meetings throughout September.

FPL is expected to restore power to essentially all customers impacted by Hurricane Debby by the end of the day. As of 2 p.m., crews have restored power to nearly 250,000 customers in 34 counties.

FPL continues to work safely and as quickly as possible to restore power as Debby moves across Florida after making landfall as a hurricane in Florida’s Big Bend region earlier today.
