JUNO BEACH, Fla. – NextEra Energy, Inc., parent company of Florida Power & Light Company, has been named one of the nation’s top 60 “Diversity Elite” companies by HispanicBusiness magazine.

“At NextEra Energy, we’re proud of our strong commitment to diversity in recruiting and advancement. We believe that a focus on diversity can directly impact our bottom line. Our customer base is very diverse, and we believe it is important to have a workforce whose diverse perspectives and experience enable us to be responsive to the varied needs of our customers,” said Lew Hay, chairman and CEO of NextEra Energy.
