NextEra Energy board declares quarterly dividend - February 2013
Feb 15, 2013

UNO BEACH, Fla. − The board of directors of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE) today declared a regular quarterly common stock dividend of 66 cents per share. The dividend is consistent with the plan announced last year of targeting a 55 percent payout ratio, expressed relative to adjusted earnings, in 2014. This plan is based on, among other considerations described last year, the expectation of a continuing shift in NextEra Energy’s portfolio mix towards more regulated and long-term contracted assets. The dividend is payable on March 15, 2013, to shareholders of record on March 1, 2013.
